Our Delivery Manager ensures that all scheduled deliveries are made to the correct location, and at the right time.

Vehicle maintenance is also part of the manager's responsibilities, with all service and fueling done at the local Penske Facility in Fort Worth
where the trucks are washed a minimum of once a week.

The Delivery Manager assigns a driver to each truck who is responsible for his assistant, the product being loaded on his truck, the delivery paperwork, all vehicle equipment, and for keeping the cab and the cargo area clean.
Daily deliveries are scheduled by office personnel only.
Final delivery scheduling for the Dallas/ Fort Worth area is completed by 3:00PM for next day deliveries.

Out of area deliveries are scheduled one week prior to the delivery date.
Approximately 20 - 30 deliveries are completed on a daily basis. Each delivery is usually made up of, but not limited to, two - five items (i.e. desks, bookcases, files, chairs, etc.)

We are presently using two 24-foot bobtail trucks with lift gates and three(3) 15' inner city vans with lift gates.
All trucks have wooden floors and wood slats on the sides for securing furniture. Each truck is equipped with a minimum of:

• Three(3) dozen furniture pads
• Four(4) 4-wheelers
• One(1) panel cart
• Cleaning and touch-up kit
• Lift gates
• First-aid kit
